Sometimes the biggest turning points in life come disguised as quiet realizations.
It was shortly before my first daughter, Amelia, was born in 2004 that I had a moment of clarity about my career. Until then, I’d been working full-time in commercial property management. During an extended bed rest, I found myself reflecting on life after her birth, and the thought of returning to 60+ hour workweeks no longer felt sustainable. I wanted flexibility, balance, and more time with my family. That’s when I decided to transition from commercial property management to residential real estate.
My real estate journey began in my twenties as a concierge for a real estate investment firm specializing in Class A high-rise buildings. The company sent me to school to earn my real estate license so I could better assist potential tenants. Over the years—and through several promotions—I became a property manager. That experience gave me a strong foundation in business operations, client service, and contracts, which continues to serve me today.
After Amelia was born, I made the decision not to return to the corporate world. Instead, I used my license to build a career in residential real estate—one that aligned with the life I envisioned for my family. In 2014, I adopted my second daughter, Courtney, from foster care—a life-changing experience that shaped my perspective and deepened my sense of purpose.
A few years later, I found myself at a crossroads. My real estate income, which had once been supplemental, now needed to become the foundation for supporting my family. I was determined to create both stability and opportunity for my daughters, and I knew I needed to take my business to the next level. In 2019, I hired a coach—a decision that changed everything. My business grew, my confidence soared, and new opportunities followed. I was invited to join a mastermind group of top producers, where I met Gary Keller, founder of Keller Williams, and connected with inspiring agents from across the country. It felt like a Cinderella moment—I was seen, supported, and motivated to dream even bigger.
Today, my daughters are 21 and 13. Amelia is a college senior, and Courtney is thriving in middle school. When I’m not helping clients, I love reading business books and crime thrillers, hiking with my dog Lucy, and relaxing at my short-term rental property in Arizona by the river—my favorite place to recharge and watch the sunsets.
A cause close to my heart is supporting foster youth. Adopting Courtney opened my eyes to the challenges many young people face when
they age out of foster care without family or support. I proudly support Inspire, an organization that provides mentorship, scholarships, and housing to former foster youth. My goal is to become a mentor myself and help change the trajectory of these young lives.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve weathered market crashes, recessions, and major shifts in the real estate industry. Through it all, my passion for helping others has remained constant. For me, real estate is about more than buying or selling homes—it’s about creating stability, opportunity, and a sense of belonging for every client I serve.
My goal is to educate, protect, and empower my clients through every step of the real estate process. I take time to explain each document and contract so clients fully understand what they’re signing. While I’ll always communicate in whatever way they prefer, I especially value meeting face-to-face when reviewing contracts. In an age of quick e-signatures, I believe in slowing down and
ensuring every question is answered.
That commitment comes from my own first home purchase—before I became a REALTOR®. My agent at the time brushed off my questions and made me feel dismissed. I promised myself that I’d never let my clients feel that way.
With over two decades of experience, I bring diligence, honesty, and integrity to every transaction. I recognize red flags early, provide straightforward advice, and safeguard my clients’ long-term interests. Through a trusted network of agents nationwide, I ensure seamless connections wherever life leads. My mission is simple: to make every real estate experience transparent, personal, and stress-free.
Sincerely,
